Customer Experience Relationship Manager, SNG

We are seeking an experienced and talented Customer Experience Relationship Manager to work out of our beautiful downtown DC office. This individual will work on our Customer Experience team and report to the SVP of Customer Experience (CX).

As our Customer Experience Relationship Manager, you will:
  • Provide a customer experience environment which ensures long-term, lasting relationships with our clients.
  • Oversee a portfolio of assigned accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with our Sales, Events, Operations and Content Marketing teams to ensure client projects are delivered on time and on schedule.
  • Manage internal, company-wide projects, acting as liaison between our company's teams, from point-of-sale to execution.
  • Ensure all client project obligations are met and project outcomes are reported.
  • Participate on client project calls and work collaboratively across internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Improve processes, communication, outcomes, and productivity across the organization.
  • Provide a future roadmap for increased account activity to internal sales team and clients.
A successful candidate will have these desired skills and experience (though all not required to apply):
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written) with a positive attitude!

Director of Audience Engagement, SNG

WASHINGTON, DC

This role is responsible for audience and traffic growth across digital channels including but not limited to email, web and social media. This is a key strategic role that focuses on identifying and seizing opportunities for growth in audience and engagement for Scoop News Group publications. The Director of Audience Engagement reports to the Senior Director of Digital Operations & Analytics and the CEO.

This individual will be responsible for increasing exposure and consumption of digital content and helping shape the company’s distribution and product strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
  • Lead the digital optimization of the four Scoop News Group publications - CyberScoop, FedScoop, StateScoop and EdScoop
  • Develop an understanding of SNG’s audience and identifies topics that both represent SNG and resonates with our audience
  • Proficient in SEO an audience analytic tools, including SEO Framework and Google Analytics, to understand and better serve the digital audience
  • Collaborate with editorial and sponsored content leadership to develop and execute web traffic growth strategies via search, paid optimization, syndicated partnerships, social and content marketing strategies
  • Manage budget, placement, and analysis of all paid channels for user acquisition and audience development campaigns
  • Monitor and react to algorithm and product changes in Google and other search engines
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on email subscriber acquisition programs (paid and organic) to drive growth and engagement of email newsletter
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to improve sponsored and event copy for better search optimization
  • In partnership with Sr. Director of Digital Operations, establish and track KPIs via regular reports and provide actionable insights
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5+ years of experience in audience development
  • Strong understanding of SEO specific to media outlets
  • Basic understanding of web development concepts
  • Well-versed in the art and science of web and mobile audience development, email marketing, direct marketing, including campaigns and performance analyses
  • Demonstrated track record of developing digital marketing programs that drive audience growth and retention
  • Fluency with marketing automation, CRMs, Google Analytics, and digital reporting tools
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including extremely strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrating a high sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work well with others in a collaborative, team environment
  • Bachelor's degree required

As the Graphic Designer, you will:
  • Assist Sr. Designers in daily tasks and projects
  • Develop, modify and create both digital & print designs for our websites, content, and events

  • Manage and facilitate design projects in order meet production deadlines
