We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Executive Assistant/Office Manager to manage the day to day activities of our office and act as a seamless extension to our SVP of Operations and SVP of Sales. As the Executive Assistant/Office Manager, you will manage or assist in the following areas:

Business Operations:
  • Maintain the SVP's calendar by helping plan, coordinate, and schedule daily activities
  • Assist with SVP’s cross-departmental projects and provide support to other team members as needed
  • Manage all staff travel; i.e. organizing travel approval process, travel calendar, booking travel
  • Manage all staff expense reporting process
  • Assist with generating and distribution of internal reports
  • Assist in the creating and upkeep of sales collateral
Office Management:
  • Daily light housekeeping to maintain shared spaces and keep space presentable
  • Purchase supplies and snacks to keep downtown DC office stocked; oversee related budgets
  • Point person for maintenance requests, mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills and errands
  • Point-person for receiving visitors, deliveries, and answering main phone line
Human Resources:
  • Manage employee perks; celebrations & office sponsored activities
  • Assist with on-boarding process for new employees; i.e. setting up laptop workstations, drafting ‘welcome’ documentation for new employees
  • Maintain office policies, procedures, directories as necessary

As our Customer Experience Relationship/Project Manager, you will:
  • Provide a customer experience environment which ensures long-term, lasting relationships with our clients.

Events Coordinator, SNG

Scoop News Group is expanding and is seeking a talented events professional to join our team as Events Coordinator. The Events Coordinator will coordinate with attendees, sponsors, and vendors, maintain event registration, manage event organization and inventory, strategize to achieve event success and the best possible attendance, and perform other duties related to organizing and hosting small and large scale virtual/hybrid/in-person events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Plan and execute small and large-scale in-person, hybrid, and virtual events in coordination with the events team
  • Oversee attendee experience and management including managing event registration, maintaining attendee database, and attendee communication
  • Manage SNG’s internal and external events calendar
  • Provide customer support to event registrants
  • Collaborate with SNG staff, speakers, vendors, attendees, and sponsors to ensure event success and customer satisfaction
